What is transgress? A semi-monthly digital magazine (for lack of a better word) featuring articles, reviews and original creative works of transgressive art.

What is transgressive art?

For our purposes, it’s literature meets heavy metal in the form of Thrash Fiction: 1,000 words, no mercy. It’s a pink zebra-penned advice column. It’s personal essays, independent journalism, poems, shorts, photography and loud music.

John Waters, New French Extremity, “A Clockwork Orange.”

J.G. Ballard, Bukowski, Ryu Murakami, Irvine Welsh.
